The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been officially accepted for publication. There are no fees for submission, initial screening, or peer review.
Article Processing Charge (APC) is a publication fee applied to accepted manuscripts to support the scholarly publishing process of Salamah Journal of Islamic Education and Community Empowerment. APC helps ensure that articles are professionally managed, published online, assigned proper publication metadata, and made accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, and community development stakeholders worldwide.
Salamah applies an APC to maintain a sustainable scholarly publishing process. The fee supports editorial administration, peer-review management, DOI and metadata preparation, website maintenance, digital archiving, and long-term journal development in the fields of Islamic education, community empowerment, and social transformation.
Salamah encourages international scholarly collaboration and may provide a full APC waiver for manuscripts involving international authors.
Authors may be eligible for free APC if the manuscript includes at least one international author with a valid Scopus Author ID and the author has made a substantive academic contribution to the manuscript. The editorial board reserves the right to verify and approve APC waiver requests.
APC payment instructions, invoice details, and payment procedures are provided only through the official journal submission process after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Authors should not make any payment during the submission, initial screening, or peer-review stage.
Authors are advised to be cautious of fraudulent payment requests. APC payments are requested only after an official acceptance decision and only through the journal’s official submission workflow. Salamah does not request APC payments through unofficial channels before the manuscript is accepted.
